Sunday School

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:15 am on Sunday mornings. Children participate in classes divided by age and grade. (Adult classes are listed on the main Sunday School page.)

Classes for younger children meet in the basement of the church building:

  • Beginner’s Class / Nursery. For children up to age 3, taught by Ginny McCarraher.
  • Age 4 – Kindergarten. Taught by Cindy Van Reed and Dede Crossley.
  • 1st to 3rd Grades. Taught by Ginny Ramsay and Hazel Peatman.

The following classes meet in the church annex, which is the building next to the church.

  • 4th to 6th Grades. Taught by Janet White.
  • Jr. and Sr. High School. Taught by Ben and Beth Brous.

Nursery

NurseryNursery care and a special beginner’s Sunday School is available for children from birth to age 3 during Sunday School and the Sunday morning worship service. Children must be dropped off and picked up by their parents.

If you would like to check on your children at any time, parents may observe the nursery via a closed circuit television outside the nursery door.

Children’s Church

In addition to nursery care during our services, children ages 4-5 are taught in their own class during the whole Sunday morning service. Older children through grade 6 can participate and learn in separate age-appropriate classes in Children’s Church, which begins immediately before the sermon and lasts until the service is over.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir practices each Sunday after the morning service. The children sing in the service a few times per year and for special occasions.
