For the most part, the great majority of us live ordinary lives. We are not miracle workers. We are not great entertainers. We are not noted for our great achievements. We are not legendary men and women who will leave behind remarkable legacies when we pass on. But there is one thing we can do. We can tell others about Jesus Christ wherever we go. We can point people to the Savior and say, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world” (John 1:29).
G.R.O.W. stands for “God Rewards Our Work.” There is a terrible disease that is killing more people than any other epidemic, and it is called sin. It is our responsibility as God’s servants to reach those who need the cure for eternal death. Only the blood of Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross can forgive sins. That is why our church schedules a visitation and soul-winning program on the first Monday, second Tuesday, and third Thursday, evenings at 7:00 pm. This makes it easy for everyone to attend and help us reach our community for Christ. There is childcare provided for couples wanting to go together.
You don’t like to talk? No problem! You can make calls or write letters. We are initially focusing on the Awana families and the families of the Youth Group.
The Lord Jesus gave this Great Commission to His disciples, and we should continue to obey His command. “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world” (Matthew 29:18-20).
